As previously reported on our news feed, the East Wing of the Nursing Home is now complete and provides the finishing touch to the extensive extension and alteration work undertaken over the past few years.
The east wing has allowed the redevelopment of this side of the building improving the appearance of the main entrance to the site and into the car park.
The extension is linked to the main building at first floor level with an archway over the car park access and follows the design features and principles used previously on the West Wing. Feature brickwork coursing, and timbered effect gables are introduced to extend the common features of the adjoining conservation area.
The extension provides additional bedroom and service accommodation to aid the everyday use of the Home.
